National Informatics Centre, Mandsaur has established in 1988 at the Collectorate premises. Since its inception, it is o

perating smoothly and cooperating district administration at its best.

 

The NIC centre of newly formed Neemuch district has not yet been operational and most of the activities are executing 

by NIC, Mandsaur District as there is no staff deputed at present.

  

      The district centre is equipped with one Windows 2003 based system  while others  have 

    win2000/98 system. All this connected in LAN through HUB. It has also one linux-based

    system. It has one Directway VSAT  for uplinking and downlinking the data through satellite.

 

 

 

Major Activities and Achievements

 

 

NIC, Mandsaur has supporting almost all the computerization activities in the district.  Some of the projects undertaken 

by this office are

 

 

Land Records

 

Recently NIC , Mandsaur has installed the Bhu-Abhilekh Ver 3 software in all the six tehsils of the district . Mandsaur is

 among first five districts of the state for doing so.

 

Besides above the Data_Centre software has also been loaded successfully at Land Record data center and now Khasra 

report of any tehsil can be given from single computer without restoring data every time.     

 

Crop Insurance , Cropins , software is also running successfully.

 

 

Video Conferencing

 

NIC, Mandsaur is providing excellent services for  Video conferencing.  At an average 20 to 25 conferences of various 

departments  per month is getting executed.

 

 

Food Department

 

Public Distribution Software (PDS) is running . Transmission of data and weekly reports has been done from NIC, Centre.

 

 

Janpads

 

NIC , Mandsaur has installed the Panchlekha software for the computerization of accounts of Janpads up to  Gram

 Panchayat and Gram Saba level. NICSI  has supplied  One Server and Four Clients based system in all the five Janpads 

of the districts. Five UPS is also installed in each of the Janpad.  Not only in software implementation but also in hardware

 , NIC,Mandsaur is supporting its services to all the Janpads of the district which also include training support for the staff of 

janpads. 

 

 

Web-site Updation 

 

Web-site of the district is maintain by NIC under kind guideness of the district collector which include , various information 

dissemination such as exam results, relief beneficiaries etc.

 

Recently a web-site on world famous Temple of  Lord Pashupatinath  has been hosted with support from NIC Web division ,

 Bhopal.

 

Besides above , other important web-sites  are also updated from NIC, Mandsaur  including Samadhan- Online, monitored

 by Chief Minister .

 

 

Samadhan Kendra  

 

Presently NIC, Mandsaur is engaged in the implementation of Samadhan-Ek-Din software which provide many services to the

 citizen with concept of single window system solution like Income Certificate, Mool Niwasi Certificate etc.

 

 

District Women & Child Development 

 

NIC, Mandsaur  has running successfully running project on ICDS at its center including monthly data entry and data 

transmission.

 

 

Collectorate 

 

Presently  NIC, Mandsaur  is  working on the project of Court Cases Monitoring System

(CCMS) and  by the end the Nov’2006 , it is expected to be get implemented.

 

Other software running  successfully are Time Limit, Payroll etc.

 

Presently two persons are getting training on computer awareness at  this Center.

 

 

Email Services 

 

NIC, Mandsaur has given dial-up connections for its email services to more than twenty-five departments in the districts.

 

Daily capturing of email, printing & processing  is being done at NIC, Mandsaur

 

District Court

 

NIC, Mandsaur has also extended its services to district court and district consumer forum, which includes implementation of 

softwares such as payroll, site consultation, and email services.

 

 

Krishi Upaj Mandi  

 

NIC, Mandsaur has successfully implemented AGMARKNET software and daily transmission of data rates of various 

commodities. Also conducted  workshops to create awareness among the farmers and traders.

Election Office  

 

NIC, Mandsaur always play a vital role in almost every elections by not only providing its services to district administration

 but also in data transmission to Doordarshan , State Unit and  its Headquarter through web based applications.
